HOW WE PACK FURNITURE. Our Bay Area packers and movers use high-quality moving pads, plastic stretch film, and tape to ensure proper furniture wrapping. First, we determine if we need to take apart any piece of furniture for safer transportation. Usually, all bedframes and dining tables should be disassembled. Then we cover furniture like dressers, and sofas and separate furniture pieces with moving pads. If needed we use tape to make sure that pads don't slip off. Finally, we use plastic wrap to add an additional layer of protection. In addition, plastic stretch film (also known as shrink-wrap) will cover some minor spots uncovered by pads. We do not charge extra for furniture protection - this is our standard service for all kinds of moves.
HOW WE PACK MATTRESSES. Our professional packers in the Bay Area use brand-new plastic wrap and wrap your entire mattress. If needed we use a moving pad or two on top of the plastic wrap for extra protection. Unlike mattress bags, shrink-wrapped matresses are better protected and it's easier to navigate them through stairs.
HOW WE PACK BOXES. In most cases, we use brand-new small and medium size boxes of high quality. We try to get supplies manufactured in the US to support other domestic businesses. Then we use high-quality packing paper (also knows as newsprint paper) and here we go. In some cases, we have to use bubble wrap for extra delicate pieces.
