Proper packing is a key to a successful move. Allowing ROUTE 66 MOVING AND STORAGE to do your packing will also save you time when you need it most.

The best way to move electronic components is in their original cartons with the original packing materials. You can do this yourself but if you don’t have these cartons, ROUTE 66 MOVING AND STORAGE can carefully pack everything in your entertainment center.

Mirrors and artwork require extra protection. And we will provide you the best service of packing them.

Special care is always taken with

Your mattresses and spring-boxes will be kept clean due to our special safety techniques.

Wardrobe-boxes will be provided to move your clothing in a proper way.

SELF-PACKING

If you want to save money on your move, you may want to pack some of your own items. Here are some tips:

- Use only strong, corrugated cartons with tops. Boxes, wrapping paper and tissue paper are available from different sources.
- Use plastic bags and labels for parts storage and identification
- Heavy-duty packaging tape for sealing cartons.
- Markers and labels for identifying contents of cartons.
- Scissors and/or a sharp knife
- Pack one room at a time.
- Always pack heavier items toward the bottom of the box and lighter items toward the top.

Don’t Pack These Items

* Flammable items: aerosol cans, paints, gasoline, etc.
